A young man had been to Wednesday night Bible Study. The Pastor had shared about listening to God and obeying the Lord’s voice. The young man couldn’t help but wonder, “Does God still speak to people? “After service he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message. Several different ones talked about how God had led them in different ways. It was about ten o’clock when the young man started driving home. Sitting in his car, he just began to pray, “God.. If you still speak to people speak to me. I will listen. I will do my best to obey.” As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk. He shook his head and said out loud, “God is that you?” He didn’t get a reply and started on toward home. But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk. The young man thought about Samuel and how he didn’t recognize the voice of God, and how little Samuel ran to Eli. “Okay, God, in case that is you, I will buy the milk.” It didn’t seem like too hard a test of obedience. He could always use the milk. He stopped and purchased the gallon of milk and started off toward home. As he passed Seventh Street, he again felt the urge, “Turn down that street.” This is crazy he thought and drove on past the intersection. Again, he felt that he should turn down Seventh Street At the next intersection, he turned back and headed down Seventh. Half jokingly, he said out loud, “Okay, God, I will”. He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt like he should stop. He pulled over to the curb and looked around. He was in semicommercial area of town. It wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst of neighborhoods either The businesses were closed and most of the houses looked dark like the people were already in bed. Again, he sensed something, “Go and give the milk to the people in the house acrossthe street.” The young man looked at the house. It was dark and it looked like the people were either gone or they were already asleep. He started to open the door and then sat back in the car seat. ” Lord, this is insane. Those people are asleep and if I wake them up, they are going to be mad and I will look stupid.” Again, he felt like he should go and give the milk. Finally, he opened the door, “Okay God, if this is you, I will go to the door and I will give them the milk. If you want me to look like a crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will count for something but if they don’t answer right away, I am out of here.” He walked across the street and rang the bell. He could hear some noise inside. A man’s voice yelled out, “Who is it? What do you want?” Then the door opened before the young man could get away. The man was standing there in his jeans and T-shirt. He looked like he just got out of bed. He had a strange look on his face and he didn’t seem too happy to have some stranger standing on his doorstep. “What is it?” The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, “Here, I brought this to you.” The man took the milk and rushed down a hallway speaking loudly in Spanish. Then from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk toward the kitchen. The man was following her holding a baby. The baby was crying. The man had tears streaming down his face. The man began speaking and half crying, “We were just praying. We had some big bills this month and we ran out of money. We didn’t have any milk for our baby. I was just praying and asking God to show me. How to get some milk.” His wife in the kitchen yelled out,”I ask him to send an Angel with some. Are you an Angel?” The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he had on him and put in the man’s hand. He turned and walked back toward his car and the tears were streaming down his face. He knew that God still answers prayers. |

i think that God want to tell us that. he can make man fall he can make rich man poor, he can do anything to make man fall and stumble. i think that God want to tell us that our life on earth is to love God and let his love be known. God want everyone to really come to know him. those people who come to know him will stand firm. he will make us strong in his name. amen GTG haha.

today God spoke to me.
God spoke to me, he gave me this verse: 1 john 5:3This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
i think that God want me to tell everyone that God’s love is just to obey his word, and sometimes obeying is quite hard. i think that God to tell us that serving him must be a joy not burden. And i think that when you have burden you can give it to god cause he can share it with you. i also think that when we accepted christ we have actually overcome the world but now God want to test us how do we want to do to overcome by your ownway or his way? And really when you feel burden don carry it alone and really give it to God. cause he’s the one who put the problem in you. And you must also have faith we can complete CG08 and the great commission. amen.

God wan’s to tell me that wadever i do must really depend on God cause men are weak and the strong want is God alone. And if you want very Good comfirmation you must really depend on God and pray. yeah no one Power is greater than God. and when you think people thingk that you are lousy don’t feel discourage cause you got God whn is stronger than everyBody.

Wow,i was drawn aback by this verse. Then CG’08 came like a flash in my mind. It is all the more possible to complete CCHY, AI and YTSS and we let go and let God. Human tendency is that they get anxious over things which are near impossible. But why have such anxiousness. Yes! Be anxious when we are not making our life count for Cg’08! But, other than that what is there to be anxious about? God is in control. Man, we need to really rely on God like never before. More testings will come ahead. But how do we really know who are we unless we are being stretched big time. If you are growing in your dependance on God, then God will give you hard situations that will make you depend on Him. Expect more CCHY, we are not done here yet. Amen?

nigel and his broken arm
oh heeello ppl,
i am leonard you all must know me. ya cause this week we were outreaching and nigel came
foe both outreaching and he really never give up because he got a broken arm and really i was touch by his Spirit. yeah ya so we when to outreach at YTSS than starting was only leonard which is me, nigel and sinlong. so me and sinlong were standing at the front gate than i ask nigel you wan to stand here a not than he said: No! yeah when he said that word i was stun cause he is willing to walk than to stand there and wait for the contacts. And i think God really see our hardwork so he gave us 40+ contacts yeah it really fruitful. really wan to thank God that he really Grow Nigel. from a Bad Boy to a Love God Boy(not bluffing). amen.

let me share with you guys abt nigel and another story.
for nigel, consistenly he had been going home late at night despite his injured arm. the truth is, with an injured arm, wouldn’t gathering contacts be a burden? He did not think this way. from monday and tuesday, he went to ahmad ibrahem and yishuntown earlier than the assigned time. running after contacts, with a cast of his arm. he said it will hurt if run too much but he just did. He had something that its worth learning from.

after which, he and a few group members decided to make the bridge diagram with maple. hurhur. dont know how but they are in the mids of it. after which, he continued to find contacts with leonard and i even when it rained. he just ran for the contacts knowing that going home late would be suicide for hiim.
a simple heart that wants to do something for God. naught and irritating he may be, but when it comes to serving God. he gave his all. opposite of he was previously, black magic, other religious stuffs are the topics he speaks to a guy that gives his all to serve despite physical limitations and family.
next i wanna talk abt someone and as its confidental, the name is changed to jonny, he’s one of the cls of North c.
approx 11pm when david was studying and i giving my shpding to leonard. jonny’s mum called david and to find out that jonny was thrown out of the house but his dad. so at 11plus we found him at the stairs outside his house. left alone and discouraged i guess? so david posted a question ” so jonny, what do you think about this situation?” He said ” this made me wanna serve God even more.”
i was wrong.
despite all this circumstances, opposed by teachers and family, he continued to stand strong in his faith in God. taking circumstances as stepping stones to go higher. similiar to Paul in the bible. Jonny was wasting outwardly in the outer game. But his inner being was refreshed by God’s assurence every moment. His heart was refreshed and stronger for God than before. indeed, serving God is tough but its possible and enjoyable when we do it with God.
